RSEZ Year Award Competition for RSEZ companies is announced

With an aim to identify the most successful enterprises of RSEZ and to acknowledge their achievements for the fifth year RSEZ authority organizes the Competition of the RSEZ Year Award honouring RSEZ enterprises, which are actively and genuinely working in the territory of RSEZ, ensuring its development. By awarding prizes and diplomas RSEZ Year Award Competition will honour and recognize the accomplishments of RSEZ enterprises as well as their products and services.

Assessment of the achievements of RSEZ enterprises will take place through evaluation of enterprises in 8 nominations: “The Service Provider of the Year”, “The Manufacturer of the Year”, “The Biggest Exporter”, “The Biggest Tax Payer”, and “The Investment of the Year ”,“ The Innovation of the Year ”,”The Most Rapidly Growing Enterprise and The Enterprise of the Year”. Enterprises will be evaluated in groups of large/medium sized and small enterprises.

Candidates for the nominations in the competition are proposed by the RSEZ Authority based on the information contained in the reports and annual reports of all enterprises of RSEZ. In addition Rezekne City Council, Rezekne Municipality Council, Rezekne Academy of Technologies and social partners are welcomed to nominate applicants for the special award in other nominations, which have not been mentioned in the RSEZ companies’ Year Award Regulation.

RSEZ companies’ Year Award is being organized on basis of the RSEZ companies’ Year Award Regulation (approved by the Supervisory Board of the Joint Municipal Institution “RSEZ Authority” on 28/05/2015, protocol No. 14/6), as well as the decision of the Supervisory Board of the RSEZ Authority on organization of RSEZ companies’ Year Award in 2016. The Evaluation Commission of the competition consists of two members of the Supervisory Board of the RSEZ Authority, a representative of RSEZ Authority and a representative of the RSEZ Business Committee. The ceremony of RSEZ Year Award where participants and winners of the competition will be honoured will take place on August 12, 2016.
